ELIMELECH EDMONDS 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Elimelech Edmonds of Bradford in the County of Wilts Clothier waith revoking all other wills by me at any time heretofore made I hereby make as follows      First I will and direct that all my just debts and Funeral and Testamentary expenses be fully paid and discharged by my Executors herein after named and appointed out of my Personal Estate and Effects      I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Ann Edmonds and her Assignees for and during the term of her natural life one Annuity or tloar yearly sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to be paid and payable by my Executors  hereinafter named by two even or equal half yearly payments that is to say on the twenty fourth day of June and twenty first day of December in each and every year that first payment thereof to begin and be made on sight of the said days of payment as shall first happen after my docoavo which said Annuity so yearly sum of one hundred and fifty pounds     I do hereby charge on my Residuary Personal Estate in the hands of my Executors and Residuary Legatees but my will and arauing is that my Executors and Residuary Legatees shall not be rouipelles to set apart and invest any part of my said Residuary Personal Estate and Effects as a Security for the Su payment of the said Annuity but shall so long as they may think proper be at liberty to use the whole of my said Residuary Personal Estate in their Trade and Business in all respects as tho the said Annuity were u of craryous heerrou on their giving to my said Wife their joint and several Bond for the due payment thereof      And as to all the ast cosiduc and ctuduide of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and whosoever and of what nature Sins or quality soever the same may be or consist      I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my two Sons John Edmonds and Ezekiel Edmonds their Sotirs Executors Administrators and Assignees for ever to or equally divided between them share and share alike as Tenants in common and not as joint tenants      And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said two Sons Executors of this my Will     In Witness whereof to this my Will written on two sheets of paper I have to the first sheet thereof set my hand and to this second and last sheet thereof my hand and seal this thirtieth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five   Elimelech Edmonds  (ss)  Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Elimelech Edmonds as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of card other have subscribed our names as witnesses attesting the execution thereof  //  Joseph Gordon Jones  //  David Marshman  //  John Bush //

 

Proved at London 28th July 1829 before the Judge by the oaths of John Edmonds and Ezekiel Edmonds his sons as Executors to whom Administration was granted having been first divoru  /  by Commission  /  only to Administer  //
