18/2/1682 - Meeting "leaves them to their liberty to take each in marriage when they please..." (after both fathers supplied consent)  [a]

2/5/1682 - Marriage certif, John Simes of (par of St Paul) Canterbury, a tailor, at an "assembly of the People of God called Quakers" at Nunington Meeting, Mary Laggett of Elm(on)stead Kent. Witns and relatives inc Alse & Henry Simes (John's parents?), Stephen Laggett (Marys brother?) but not her parents.  [a]

    (There's a list of their kids bn 1708 to 1723, and added notes on some of them. They lived in St Margarets Canterbury. Catherine died 1723, Henry 1756, both bur in FBG at St Dunstans)  [a] 

15/1/1708 - A Mary Sims, wife of a John Sims of the Borough of Longport, died and was bur in St Dunstans (not sure who these are, an earlier generation?)  [xx] 

11/4/1735 - John died aged nearly 80 and was buried in Friends Burial Ground St Dunstans Cant  [a]

7/1/1741 - Mary died and was buried in Friends Burial Ground St Dunstans Canterbury  [a]
