abt 1745 - Stephen left Chatham in Kent, went to London, a carpenter, worked on the Blackfriars Bridge, later took a dairy farm in London's east suburb of Stepney Green "for the supply of milk to that city" [a]

24/4/1746 - The Canterbury Quaker Meeting received a letter from Stephen asking for clearness to marry  [a]

8/5/1746 - Certificate of clearness to marry granted  [a]

abt June 1746 - Stephen Perry married Elizabeth Sims, dau of John Sims (Jnr) of Houndsditch (just west of Whitechapel and Stepney).  "The couple were for many years members of the Ratcliffe Quakers Meeting" [a]
   (A net-search for the Ratcliffe Quakers goes to "Ratcliffe & Barking" Quaker site for Epping in Essex, but checking "Ratcliffe" alone goes to Trinity Chapel, Key Close London E1 4HG. This is in the Stepney, Tower Hamlets, Bethnal Gr, Shoreditch area).

23/2/1750 - Daniel born  [a]

31/8/1751 - Ann born  [a]

4/1/1754 - John born  [a]

c 1760 - Joseph Ollive born  [a]
    Had several other children died as infants

6/6/1785 - Stephen died aged nearly 70  [a]
    Refer notes on Elizabeth’s latter years (p22), along with a great deal of other detail, in Thomas Perry’s diaries.

27/1/1798 - Elizabeth died aged near 76  [a]
