went to London, a carpenter, worked on the Blackfriars Bridge, later took a
dairy farm in London's east suburb of Stepney Green "for the supply of
milk to that city" [a]
24/4/1746 - The Canterbury Quaker Meeting
received a letter from Stephen asking for clearness to marry [a]
8/5/1746 - Certificate of clearness to
marry granted [a]

Elizabeth Sims, dau of John Sims (Jnr) of Houndsditch (just west of Whitechapel
and Stepney). "The couple were for
many years members of the Ratcliffe Quakers Meeting"

Barking" Quaker site for Epping in Essex, but checking
"Ratcliffe" alone goes to Trinity Chapel, Key Close London E1 4HG.
This is in the Stepney, Tower Hamlets, Bethnal Gr, Shoreditch area).
