Two books worth getting hold of if your Irish forebears came from the Kiskeam area of Co Cork / Kerry...
"KISKEAM AND THAT WAY BACK"
"KISKEAM VERSUS THE EMPIRE"
... both local man by John J O'Riordain.
We also have some notes taken in the Millstreet Library, apparently from another publication of his, titled "Kishkeam And All That", but I suspect that it's only viewable in the Library. But, going through them, most if not all of the hastily scribbled content is covered by other material we've already put up here somewhere under the Hickey name.
