STIRRING THE BONES: Perry / Puplett

These are mostly from the Family History artefacts that were kept on the farm of Ernest Harry Edmonds at Pygery, having been handed down to him from or through his parents John Hinton Edmonds and Mary Louisa Puplett (see "The Biscuit Baker And The Genteel Quaker" and "The Quaker Who Loved God And Rocks"). They are now all in the SA State Library Archives.

This is the Apprenticeship Indenture paper of James Puplett when he was signed up by his father to learn the baking trade from the Huntley Bros in 1829.

This is the 1810 birth certificate of Alfred Perry, the eldest son of Thomas Perry.

This is the Quaker marriage certificate of Daniel Perry and Elizabeth Heming (the parents of Thomas Perry) in 1775.

These are the first four pages of a Memo Book given to Lucy Puplett (nee Perry) by her father Thomas, the notes being by him as a sort of frontispiece. The next two are her own notes.

This clipping (unknown date) is probably from a local SA paper, the top section being about Thomas Perry's eldest son Alfred, who settled in the Sthn Dists of SA.
